My name is Christina and this is what started out to be my dog/horse blog named after my dog Lexi. Slowly my blog has morphed into a dog/life/farm blog. I love to take photos of everything relating to the farm and local events. I am also a Design Junkie and love to take my old run down ranch and redesign every inch into my dream retreat. Join Lexi, myself and all the delightful creatures at Bluebird Farm and have a peek inside our wonderful world... "The World According To Lexi"

Valentine you will be missed!
This is in Memory to sweet, sweet Valentine who passed away last week.

This is a photo of Valentine and her Mommy Stephanie. She was the ultimate farm dog and she loved having her soft little belly rubbed. Valentine your Mommy will meet you at Rainbow Bridge.
Maybe someday we will all be together at Rainbow Bridge.
Hugs and kisses......Lexi

The Saddlebreds are here!
My human mommy stopped at Green Hill Park today to watch the Botetourt County Horseman's Assoc. Fall Show. When she got there there was a huge class with a lot of Saddlebreds present. She was very excited to see the folks from Meadow Wood Stables showing. Our 25 year old Appaloosa "Reiny" used to live at Meadow Wood.
Welcome Meadow Wood Riders! We are happy to see you at Green Hill Park!

Overlook Farm
My mommy went to see her best friend out of town at Overlook Farm in Purceville...all of us dogs laid around for days with nothing to do...it's just not the same around here without my mommy spoiling us!
It does look like she had fun taking photos early one morning...this place is amazing. I hear they have a dog named Jake that lives there. I don't think she took any photos of Jake...it's a shame because I hear that Jake is a "hunky" looking hound!
Enjoy my mommy's work....she loves to take pictures!
