Her name is "Faith" and she was born without front legs but her human mommy has taught her how to walk like a person. Now she travels all over the world with her mommy showing everyone "that you don't have to have a perfect body to have a perfect sole"!

I think she is amazing! Lexi

Longest Antenna Ever!

Check out the Antenna on this grasshopper. Oh my! I went out to potty before bedtime and this is what I saw starring down on me. He is the "grasshoppernator" of all times. It is amazing what you see at night (kritters crawling all around) when you pay attention to all the sights and sounds at night.

Sweet dreams creepy crawly night creatures!

Relaxing On The Porch in the Morning Sunshine

Well here are the girls are just relaxing on the porch in the sunshine on Sunday morning. My human mommy and daddy were sitting on the porch enjoying their Sunday morning coffee when they caught the girls hanging out on the loveseat.....see how the sunshine just bounces off their beautiful coats. My daddy uses the furminator on all of us (and we hate that thing) but it does give all of us shiny smooth coats.

Look at the royal collar around Bailey's neck...it's like she is a Dog Princess...you almost expect to see some kind of olympic medal hanging on her chest.
We are treated like the Royals around here on Bluebird Farm. Happy Trails! Lexi

One Big Happy Family

Here are those silly geese again. Usually the ponies chase them away but on this day the horses let them hang out for a bit (until they notice the goose poop on their dinner).

Enjoy!

My Green Pond

I was walking with my Mommy by the big green pond when we came upon the most amazing site. The Canadian Geese where just gliding along. Don't they look so peaceful? Just one big happy family! I love living on a farm....I know I say that a lot but it's so true. Being a dog on Bluebird Farm totally rocks!

Enjoy!

Funny Looking Big Blue Bird

For the past 6 years we have had this really cool big blue bird come to Bluebird Farm. My Mommy thinks it might be a Blue Heron. Every late summer or early fall he comes to eat all the frogs and little fish in the neighbor's pond. His wing span is very large...maybe 4 feet. My Mommy rode by on her horse one day and didn't see him sitting on the dock. When he took off the horse and my Mom were scard half to death!

Everytime we see him we are in awe because he is so unusual and he keeps coming back year after year. This is an amazing place to live....I love being a dog on Bluebird Farm!

Enjoy!

What an amazing site!

Tonight I was just lounging inside the house when I heard my mommy holler to my daddy to come look outside. Of course I followed my daddy outside and this is what was waiting for us. A true gift from God! Not only did we get a few shots of this awesome storm cloud but while all three of us sat on the porch in awe we actually got a shot of the humming bird flying near the feeder (with the storm cloud in the back ground). Those little critters will run you over if you stand in their way!

Enjoy the photos!

PS: Here is a good shot of the cloud with the American Flag to the right of the shot.
I love summer evenings on Bluebird Farm...it is great to be a dog in America!

Just the neighbors flying over Bluebird Farm

Well for the last couple of years the Canadian Geese have moved to Bluebird Farm. In the morning when I am out (doing my morning business) you can hear them approaching. Sometimes they land in the front pasture and the horses chase them off to the next door neighbor's pasture. I guess they don't want "goose poop" on their breakfast.

Honk! Honk!

Lexi Daily Routine

I know what you must be thinking "jezz is that all those dogs do on Bluebird Farm just lay
around and sleep?" Well we do relax a lot but we
also bark at the horses, cats, rabbits, neighbors,
slow moving cars driving by...it takes a lot of energy guarding this place.
All of us dogs get paid in "couch time" instead of human currency.
Not a bad deal for a bunch of lazy dogs!

Don't you just want to kiss those lips?

Doesn't Bailey look sweet here? My mommy
says she likes to kiss Bailey's "gorilla lips" whatever that means. Anyway this is Bailey doing what she does best (besides barking and chasing little kritters around) just relaxing.

Watching the Spider Weave his Web

Tonight we were hanging out on the back
deck and I noticed a spider building his web for the "catch of the evening". It will sure be interesting in the morning to see who and what gets caught up in his web......I think I will keep my distance.

What a FACE!

This is Dakota begging for my Mommy to give her some food from the dinner table. She is trying not to look directly at the table! Me on the other hand (I am only 12 pounds), I hang out under the table waiting for someone to drop a goodie or two...it happens more often then you might think.

Lazy Days on Bluebird Farm - It is a Dog's Life Around Here!

Well it sure has been a lazy day here on Bluebird Farm. As you can see Dakota is taking full advantage of the morning sun. Everytime someone in the house passes by Dakota laying on the couch they either bend over and kiss her or chew on her mushy face. My human Mommy says she has a very smooooosheee face and that it needs to be chewed on or at the very least kissed every chance they get. What a life! We all adore Dakota and she is the Alpha female (besides my human Mommy) on the farm. Sweet dreams Dakota! We love you! Lexi

Happy Trails little birdies!

Speaking of birds, this is a photo of our baby birds right before they took flight. My mommy has opened up the porch again so us dogs get to lounge around on the whole porch. I think they are still sticking close to their nest because I did see both of them perched on one of the porch columns last night. The birds love it here...my mommy has a big bird bath and three feeder on and around the porch. It gives us dogs something to look at. They seem to really like the attention. Happy Trails little birdies! Lexi

New Neighbors on Bluebird Lane!

Not only do we have new baby birds hatching everywhere on Bluebird Lane but we also have this Mommy Duck and her six baby ducklings. Two weeks ago they where very small and as you can see they are almost as big as their Mommy. Anyone for Duck La Orange...just kidding! You can't blame me...I am a dog after all! They are very cute....LexiPosted by Picasa

Me and Bailey relaxing.

Yes, sometimes it is a dogs life. Here is Bailey and I sharing...yes sharing the couch! Do we have it made or what? My Mommy says we all won the "dog lottery" whatever that means. I think she means that we are very lucky dogs. How about all you dogs out there? Any photos of you winning the "dog lottery"? We would love to see other brothers and sisters out there enjoying the good life.

I'm starting to get very sleepy...I think I need to go now....ZZZZZZzzzzzzZZZZZzzzz...

Bailey

Here is Bailey this morning just relaxing on in the sunroom on the couch. She has to take a nap as soon as she is done with her breakfast. As you can see she has a very good life. Not bad for a mutt!

The Stork is coming!

The Stork is coming! This morning when I was roaming around on the porch there was a certain poultry smell in the air and sure enough I found these eggs on the front porch in one of our plants. We are very excited here on Bluebird Farm to have new arrivals. As you can see two babies have hatched. The only bad thing about the Stork coming is my mommy has sectioned off the part of the porch so us dogs can't go near the nest. I just sit here and watch the Moma bird feed her babies....and boy are they noisy when they are hungry! This will be our third arrival so far this year! I guess that's why this place is called Bluebird Farm!

Happy Trails!

Building a HUGE Dog Fence!

Well a lot had been going on here at Bluebird Farm. My daddy has been building a very high fence to keep my sister Bailey from barking at all the neighbor cats (all the time). I don't know what the big deal is with Bailey and cats...it just a cat! Anyway the fence looks pretty good although it smells funny (my mommy says that it is cedar whatever that is). Anyway my other sister Dakota could care less about the fence. She is pretty laid back (SPCA special). I love Dakota beside my human Mommy, Dakota is my doggy mommy. She looks after me and she won't show it but I can tell I am her favorite. Here is a photo of her. This is when I was a baby...as you can see she was very protective when I was little. How about all of you out there. How many brothers and sisters do you have? I would love to hear from you. Feel free to add a comment....it gets boring when my humans are busy around the farm and I am here in the sun room just talking to myself...I welcome comments from all species :o)
