This is the second group of Salem Rotary Dog Park Photos I took this week with Nitro playing with Goober and Marine (JRT). They had a ball together. We also took some photos of a nice lady and her beautiful dog True. The last few photos are of Nitro at the Roanoke College Commencement Ceremony where Nitro's daddy was the Chief Marshal.

Salem Rotary Dog Park - Group 2 Photos taken 5-10-2012

Nitro has finally learned to jump up on the big huge culvert at the dog park so I got some great photos of Nitro, Loki, Ozzy and my husband Chris hanging out on the big pipe. Enjoy!

Happy Hopping! Christina, Lexi, Nitro,  Tallulah, and Baily

Nitro, Loki, Ozzy and Chris at the Salem Rotary Dog Park.

They were pretty excited to see Chris was holding a Starbucks!

Nitro and his handsome daddy (my two most favorite boys in the world).

Nitro giving Ozzy kisses.

My two handsome boys!

Nitro getting nibbled on by his daddy. Look at his face!

This is a Belgian Tervuren. This is the first time I have ever met a Belgian Tervuren. Isn't he beautiful? His name is True.

This is True with his mom. Don't they look happy together? We met them at the park on Thursday morning.

True and Petey playing.

This is True playing with Goober. Goober is the coolest most the most enthusiastic dog at the park.

The white JRT is Marine, with Petey (the red terrier) and Goober.

Nitro finally gets Goober's attention so they can play.

Goober: Petey you look so funny up side down!

Goober loves to lay on his back to draw other dogs in to play with him. He is such a clown!

Ruuttt Rowww...collision!

See what I mean...Goober just flips over!

Nitro and Goober have so much fun together!

There he goes again...he is such a flip flopper!

Gobber: Tag! Your it!...

Nitro: Ouch!

Nitro: Oh Crap!

Goober: Hahahahaha...I am a LANDSHARK!

Nitro: I eat LANDSHARKS!\

Goober biting Ozzy in the back leg....Ozzy: " no you din hint!"

Ozzy getting attention at both ends! BOL!

I love this photo...so much emotion and expression!

Nitro: What???

Nitro: I'm getting tired...you?

Goober: No way Jose!

WhaaaHooooo!

Goober missed his turn in this shot and wiped out!

Flying deaf boxer!

LANDSHARK! Nitro: Oh crap here he comes again!
Doesn't Goober looks so happy in this photo?

The Three Musketeers!

Rutt Roww...It's Marine's turn...tag your it Marine!

WhaHoooo!

Time to rest in the shade....they are loving the new bridge at the park.

Roanoke College Graduation 2012

Nitro's daddy works at Roanoke College. He is a Math Professor in the Math Department and this year he was the Chief Marshal of the Roanoke Collage Commencement so Nitro and I went and watched all the Seniors graduate from Roanoke College. It was a beautiful day although it was spitting a little rain.

Nitro checking out the crowds. He wore his Roanoke College collar and a maroon vest to celebrate the Roanoke College team colors.

The Commencement speaker is one of the producers of CSI as you can see him speaking at the podium in this photo.

Nitro and I moved up to the porch of the Roanoke College Administration building for a better view. 16 years ago my husband Chris and I were married on this spot on the front lawn directly in front of the Administration Building. It was a beautiful June day in  1996.

In this photo right next to the flag you can see Nitro's Daddy walking as the Chief Marshal carrying the Mace (the long thing in his two hands that looks like a baton) and marching all the teachers and students out into the back quad to meet their family and friends for lunch right after the graduation ceremony.

Close up of Chris carrying the Mace.

Nitro was very good boy and he would sit down every time someone came up to greet us. Another dog even walked by lunging and barking at Nitro and he went to a "sit" and then a "down" on his own. The lady that was holding the barking dog walked by, looked at Nitro, and commented on how good Nitro was being. I was a proud moma!

  1. I love all of these. The lil Jack Russell looks just like my girl Bella. It's so great to see such happy puppies. My favorite is to see their eyes and how much intensity there is at first and then as they get tired a lil less each photo. Your title says this is Blogger Hop, but I don't see a link up anywhere? Wondering if I'm just not seeing it or what's going there?
