Saturday Pet Blogger Hop - 10-15-2011 Dogtoberfest 2011

Lexi, Nitro, Tallulah, Bailey, and I are excited to participate in this weeks Saturday Pet Blogger Hop. Special thanks goes out to our Pet Blog Hop hosts, Life With Dogs, Two Little Cavaliers, and Confessions of the Plume! If you would like to read some entertaining pet blogger posts in the Saturday Pet Blogger Hop, just click on one of the host links above or click on the purple Pet Blogger Hop button on the right side of our homepage.

We had a great time at Dogtoberfest this year. We went in the morning because there was a Wind Advisory for later in the day. It was still chilly and windy so we didn't stay as long as we normally do. Here are some photos of this year's Dogtoberfest to benefit Saint Francis Service Dogs.

This dog looked just like my Tallulah but it was a mixed breed called a Bugg. A Bugg is a Boston-Pug Mix and Tallulah is a Chihuahua-Pug mix called a Chug Dog. This dog was probably about 5 or 6 pounds heavier then my Tallulah.

This is my friend Susan Jordan's beautiful Husky dog.

Nitro was checking out the pretty girls!

We saw lot's of handsome Boxer boys at Dogtoberfest this year!

Beautiful Border Collie!

These are the folks Nitro and I are training with so we can be a registered Pet Partners Team through Delta Therapy Pet Partners Program.

Pretty day although it was a bit chilly and windy. Here is my husband Chris walking around with Nitro.

This is the Star City Canine and Delta Therapy Tent.

I love English Bulldogs and I thought this guy was so cute!

We took lots of photos of this dog last year. He has one blue eye and one brown eye like Nitro.

Here is a smaller white English Bulldog.

Our friends at Field of Dreams where Nitro and I take K-9 classes.

Nitro checking out the doggy bone bowl at the Field of Dreams tent....oh so close!

We saw this stunning Great Pyrenees. So soft and beautiful. According to Nitro, she was gorgeous!

This pup belongs to my friend Dick who was working Dogtoberfest this year but he decided he would go ahead and bring his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to work with him.

Handsome Nitro resting in between visiting with dogs at Dogtoberfest.

She was so cute in her pink coat I decided to add a pink tint to her photo. She was very shy with Nitro and I.

These dogs belong to our friends from Cross View Farm. They have the best Pit Bull dogs around!

Our friend Laura just adopted this Blue Heeler from the Franklin Co. Humane Society.

Look at all these beautiful Golden Girls!

It is the Prissy Paris Pug Parade!

  4. You got some great shots. Love the black and white. Those prissy pugs were too cute, and I like the photo of Nitro checking out the Dachshunds. Those might be the same ones that freaked Zoe out last year. :)
